Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Project Management or Construction accounting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Required software: Yardi 8 or 7/7s
  • Required skills: Familiar with job costing and project management

  • Familiarity utilizing AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to drive efficiency in accounting workflows - reconciliations, variance analysis, documentation, and data review.
  • Base Compensation Range:
  • $90,000.00 To $110,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

Skills

  • Familiar with job costing and project management
  • Hands-on Yardi Job Costing and Fixed Asset Manager experience in a multi-entity real estate environment.
  • Familiarity with REIT reporting cadences (monthly close for REIT-style vehicles, quarterly close for non-traded structures).
  • Exposure to purchase price allocation (PPA) on acquired real estate assets.

Compensation

  • $90,000.00 To $110,000.00 Annually.
  • This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's base compensation range for this position.
  • Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
  • This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.

  • Own the job code life cycle in the ERP - intake new job code requests, validate budget authorization, confirm setup attributes (job type, cost list, phase, entity, project tag), and shepherd codes through approval before they are made active.
  • Investigate and resolve miscoded costs in partnership with Property Accountants, Construction Accountants, and Procore users; coordinate reclassification entries before month-end close.
  • Maintain a CIP aging dashboard
  • Support quarterly and annual job code clean-up cycles
  • Perform monthly Job Cost to General Ledger reconciliations across assigned portfolios; investigate and resolve variances within the close calendar.
