About the role

CTI is hiring Class A CDL HAZMAT Acid Drivers!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting hazardous materials, specifically acid, while adhering to strict safety protocols, MSHA, and FMCSA regulations.
Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors).

TANK & HAZMAT endorsements required
Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
No major violations within the last 5 years
HAZMAT Drivers are required to wear a respirator for certain tasks, which also requires that you are clean-shaven daily
Ability to pass a satisfactory road test
Ability to pass a controlled substance test for pre-employment purposes
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and hazmat transportation procedures
CDL driver must be qualified to operate a combination vehicle as a driver in compliance with FMCSA
Ability to operate a manual 10-speed configuration
Must be able to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy
