- The Associate Scientist II position is an individual contributor role within the Surveillance, Prevention, and Health Services Research (SPHeRe) department, working under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and technical support to senior staff members in SPHeRe and Discovery Pillar. 10%
- Collaborate s with internal and external subject matter experts. 10%
- Document analytic programs and results in an organized, dated, and clearly labeled form for future reference. 5 %
Requirements
- Minimum Degree Required:
- Master's Degree or equivalent amount of experience and education in Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Policy, Health Economics, Bios tatistics, and Demography.
Nice to have
- Maste r's Degree
- Certificate(s) or License(s):
- Preferred Degree: Maste r's Degree
Skills
- 5 years of experience in statistical, medical, or biologic research
- SAS or related statistical software (R, Stata, SUDAAN, SEER*Stat)
- Cancer screening, early detection, risk factor surveillance, and survey research experience
- Familiarity with large databases (NHIS, BRFSS, SEER, etc.)
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail with numbers and calculations.

- $75k-$80k
