  • SUMMARY: The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing delinquent accounts through direct customer engagement, legal processes, and administrative follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities in the system of record.
  • Collaborate with branch staff and legal teams to escalate accounts requiring legal recourse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • 5 years of experience in consumer finance collections or a related field.
  • Familiarity with skip tracing tools and legal collection procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collection software systems.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with auto loan or personal loan collections.
  • Knowledge of repossession and legal filing processes.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $24/hr - $30/hr, based on the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience of the selected candidate.
  • This position is eligible for Semi Annual Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines
