About the role

Roofstock is looking to hire an analytical, entrepreneurial Asset Management Analyst to join the Investment Management team.

Manage budget builds and lead monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis for assigned portfolios, identifying key trends, explaining operational drivers, and partnering with Accounting and Ops teams to validate results and address areas of opportunity
Produce financial reports and maintain models for lender tape deliverables and other investor or lender reporting needs
Conduct financial analysis to support hold/sell decisions and portfolio expansion opportunities
Leverage Excel, Google Sheets, Sigma, and other reporting tools to analyze large data sets, validate reporting, identify inconsistencies, and turn data into actionable recommendations
Identify and help implement product and data enhancements that improve the team's analytics and reporting capabilities

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field
4-5+ years of experience in real estate, asset management, financial analysis, FP&A, or a related analytical role
Strong understanding of portfolio financials and P&L
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment and we are unable to sponsor H1-B Visas at this time.

Proficiency in Sigma or a similar analytics platform, with the ability to build and maintain reporting and dashboards.
Experience with SQL is a plus.

Demonstrated experience operating in an AI-powered workflow, with genuine curiosity for tech-enabled processes
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative mindset, comfortable working cross-functionally with property management, accounting, data, and investment teams
Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and a fast-paced environment
High degree of ownership and bias toward action

Compensation
$105,000 - $120,000 annually.
The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location.
Pay Transparency

The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.
Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.
Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
