Requirements

  • Ability to read, interpret, and discuss engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to provide technical insight into Watts products, solutions, and applications with a strong understanding of industry concepts and practices.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout an assigned territory and/or account base.
  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation and account planning.
  • Experience managing large or strategic customer accounts.
  • Industry-specific experience relevant to the company's products or services.
  • Experience supporting project-based sales, specifications-driven sales or development initiatives.

Compensation

  • The expected salary range for this position is $131K- $144K yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.

  • Scope of Position
  • This highly motivated, strategic, and customer-focused individual, as part of the Project Development team, will be responsible for driving business growth through the development of key customer relationships, identification of new market opportunities, and expansion of strategic partnerships across North America.
  • Utilizing a consultative sales approach, this role works closely with customers, engineering firms, contractors, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to develop project opportunities, deliver value-based solutions, and achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • This position has no direct reports.
  • This is a remote position located within the Midwest Region and supports the company's North America operations.
  • Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new customers and business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry engagement, strategic partnerships, and targeted market development activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineering firms, contractors, manufacturers, representatives, and other key industry stakeholders to generate project opportunities and long-term business growth.
  • Conduct customer visits, facility assessments, presentations, and discovery meetings to identify customer challenges and recommend value-based solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive proposals, presentations, budgets, and business cases designed to address customer needs and support project objectives.
