About the role

- The EHS Professional assists in the development and deployment of best-in-class Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs, systems and processes.
- Works with facility leadership and EHS Manager in complying with federal, state and local EHS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to site strategic and tactical EHS teams.
- Responsible for the design.
- Participates in incident investigations, develops corrective actions and enters information into Materion Safety.
- Helps drive effective, sustainable implementation of corporate and local initiatives.
Requirements
- BS in an EHS field and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent
- Experience designing and implementing compliance strategies with OSHA and EPA regulations.
Nice to have
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience designing and implementing compliance strategies with EPA regulations preferred
- Preferred management systems (ISO 45000/14001) experience
