About the role

  • Assist in tracking daily income and expenses, while handling & receipting money.
  • Assist in preparing and making daily deposits.
  • Submit invoices pertaining to programs; communicate with parents regarding outstanding balances.

Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations.
  • Create and hold accountable parents on payment plans, sending outstanding accounts to collections.
  • Create and communicate volunteer opportunities as needed and requested.
  • Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club professional staff to ensure a clean, healthy, safe, positive environment
  • External: Maintain contact with parents, volunteers, community leaders and organizations to represent the club in a positive manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.

  • High School diploma required.
  • High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education preferred.
  • One year of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization overseeing daily operations is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents and community leaders.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be in compliance with funding sources.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Be a "team" player in order to reach our goals.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and annual background checks in addition to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.
