About the role
- Job Profile: Safety Specialist 2 Job Family: Environmental Health and Safety Time Type: Full time Max Pay - Depends on experience: $85,000.00 USD Annual Apply before 11:59 PM Arizona time the day before the posted End Date.
- Participates in emergency response activities.
- This position will report to the Hazmat Supervisor and will be expected to work independently and within the MTW team.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field
- travel between campuses will be required to service gases and chemicals at different ASU facilities.
- Coordinate and schedule all required outside service on the site TGMS.
- Remain current with required safety training and attend training as scheduled.
- Ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or be subject to the resolution of hazardous materials incidents.
Nice to have
- in handling chemicals, hazardous gases, and hazardous waste in the semiconductor environment or comparable environment, for at least 1 year
- gas monitoring, and fire alarm systems.
- On call/alarm response operations
- 40-hour HazWoper
- LOTO, Lock out tag out
- PPE selection/Use
- FGM/TGM maintenance/operation/repair
- ASU Lab Safety, Fire Safety, hazardous waste handling, and shipping.
Compensation
- $75,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate experience and education.
- $85,000.00 USD Annual
