About the role
- Interacts with patients therapeutically.
- Assists, initiates, and participates in social and recreational activities, group therapy, patient teaching groups, and other group activities.
- Makes rounds on assigned patients at least every half hour during shift.
Responsibilities
- $19.80 - $29.70 Essential Functions Observes, reports, and documents signs and symptoms or changes in patient behavior to charge nurse.
Requirements
- Good therapeutic communication skills required.
- CPI certification required within 90 days of hire date.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Relevant patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Compensation
- Department: 36615 High Point Medical Center - Behavioral Medicine Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 24 Schedule Details/Additional Information: This position is for 2-12 hour shifts from 7p-7a per week Pay Range: $19.
