Responsibilities
- Groundfloor is looking for a senior product designer to drive high-quality, human centered design.
- You will be leading efforts to develop consumer grade design to enable people to participate in and build portfolios of private market & real estate investments.
- This role works in close collaboration with the Product team, strengthening UX for user workflows, identifying pain points, and managing the execution of designs across Groundfloor's product lines.
- A keen eye for design and a deep appreciation for aesthetics, coupled with a practical understanding of how exceptional UX/UI drives business success in the fintech domain
Nice to have
- Fintech, investing, wealthtech, or real estate product experience is a plus.
- Experience with financial tools, investment platforms, and/or real estate products
- professional experience preferred
- High degree of financial literacy, comfortable with basic concepts related to building and managing a personal portfolio of investments in public and private market securities
Skills
- Communicate progress and key updates with other team members on a regular basis
- Cultivate a deep understanding of Groundfloor's existing products and our users
- Work with product managers to understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability testing
- YOUR EXPERIENCE + A FEW NICE TO HAVES:
- Advanced Figma skills
- Experience with financial tools, investment platforms, and/or real estate products; professional experience preferred
