About the role
- As a SUBprint Production Attendant 1, you will play a crucial role in our high-paced production environment.
- You will be responsible for assisting with various printing tasks, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of projects, and maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere throughout the workplace.
- The Production Attendant 1 facilitates the production of print jobs and associated sales transactions, provides customer service, and assists in the overall operations of the Students' Union's retail production environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work with Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office, and willingness to learn printing and production software.
- Strong customer service skills, and ability to communicate effectively with the staff, students and the general public.
- Attention to detail and an ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal records check.
- Previous experience in the print industry, as well as experience in computer troubleshooting, would be assets.
- Complete cash counts and other financial counts as required.
- Perform other job-related duties as required by management.
- Minimum Alberta Grade 12, or equivalent.
- Ability to operate an electronic point-of-sale system and to perform accurate financial accounting of shift activities.
- An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
- A strong work ethic, dependable punctuality and a commitment to high performance contribute to team reliability and overall productivity

- SUBprint is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am -5:00 pm with staff scheduled for shifts ranging from 8:00 am - 5:15 pm.
- The number of hours per week for this position varies based on availability, and SUBprint offers flexible scheduling to accommodate class schedules whenever possible.
