About the role
- A CAREER WITH CUBIST'S KEPL TEAM Cubist Systematic Strategies, an affiliate of Point72, deploys systematic, computer-driven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes, including equities, futures, and foreign exchange.
- The core of our effort is rigorous research into a wide range of market anomalies, fueled by our unparalleled access to a wide range of publicly available data sources.
Responsibilities
- As the Business Manager of the KEPL team, you will help manage the team's internal operations, focusing on team coordination, recruitment support, employee experience, and operational execution.
- You will work closely with the portfolio manager to improve team efficiency, manage priorities, coordinate internal processes, and create a high-performing and sustainable team environment.
- Support the portfolio manager in daily operations, planning, prioritization, and follow-ups.
- Manage team standards and processes, including meetings, action items, timelines, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Support employee onboarding, training coordination, team integration, and ongoing employee experience.
- Manage and improve employee workload balance and internal communication.
- Organize team events, offsites, knowledge sharing sessions, and culture building initiatives.
- Build and maintain internal systems, dashboards, trackers, and documentation to improve transparency and execution.
- Partner with the firm's internal functions such as HR, legal, compliance, finance, technology, and facilities to ensure smooth team operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Requirements
- Master's degree in STEM, business, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in finance in a business operations, chief of staff, project management, recruiting operations, strategy, consulting, or trading role.
- Proficiency with GenAI tools and Microsoft Office suite, as well as productivity tools such as Jira or similar.
