- Understanding coronavirus pathogenesis and transmission (zoonotic, enzootic, and pandemic).
- The focus of the project is to understand the molecular mechanisms of host factors and viral determinants that enhance Coronavirus zoonosis.
- Traditional molecular virology skills and the ability to generate hypotheses are required.
- Work also requires biosafety level 3 (BSL3) training, with previous experience in BSL3 preferred.
