About the role

As a Cyber and Technology E&O Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating and analyzing Cyber Liability insurance risks for a wide range of clients in Canada.
Review and analyze Cyber and Technology E&O insurance submissions and assess risk exposures.
Evaluate and analyze historical loss data, risk management practices, financials, and other relevant information to determine appropriate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.

Monitor and manage existing book of business, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to foster business growth and collaboration.

Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
Ability to travel as required
Underwriter is 5+ years of Cyber and Technology E&O Underwriting and Risk assessment experience, preferably in the Canadian market.
Strong negotiation & communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Knowledge of Canadian insurance regulations and market trends.

Proficient in analyzing data, interpreting financial statements, and utilizing underwriting tools and software.

$115,000 - $150,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
