About the role

  • We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Lab Team at CAL-CERT, an Accredited Labs Company.
  • Our Team of Calibration Technicians are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibrating various measuring devices and instruments across multiple fields.
  • As a Calibration Technician - Field Service, you will work out of our Boise, Idaho office to calibrate various equipment across differing fields at customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025.
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field service travel.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.
  • Experience working in a technical or mechanical position.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems.
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields.
  • Technical Degree or Certificate.
  • Military PMEL Training.
  • Metrology experience.
  • Experience with IndySoft.

Skills

  • Are customer oriented with excellent communication skills.
