Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Department Chair, Department Manager, and staff to develop event strategies, goals, and success metrics
  • Create and manage event timelines, communications, invitations, and promotional efforts to ensure seamless coordination
  • Maintain organized event documentation and historical records to support long-term planning and continuous improvement
  • Provide office support as needed; including training and supervising part-time student employees, processing of purchasing and travel and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • As the Electrical and Computer Engineering Event and Support Coordinator, you will oversee and manage all aspects of departmental events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • You will also provide comprehensive administrative support by assisting the Department Office Manager with office operations, serving staff and faculty needs, supporting student onboarding initiatives, coordinating purchasing and student travel and helping manage department recruitment and outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
  • Experience with event marketing or communications
