About the role
- Assigns preventative maintenance and urgent, corrective, and routine repairs on assigned equipment or assigned area.
- Ensures all work performed by assigned staff is completed in a timely manner and meets quality guidelines.
- Assists in maintaining an effective organization, budget development, planning, training of personnel in their general and specific duties, safety, and effective management.
Responsibilities
- Maintains records of preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintains assigned records to ensure compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
- Maintains attendance and productivity records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience - Three (3) years leadership and general maintenance experience of buildings and/or equipment.
- Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
- Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of maintenance related to type of staff assigned under supervision.
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
- Performs requisitioned, corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of assigned systems and building structures as required.
- Makes periodic inspections, noting general condition and keeps the Manager informed as to the needs and/or changes required to keep the hospital in safe, well-maintained condition.
Nice to have
- If assigned supervision of Electrical trade, a minimum of a journeyman's license is preferred.
Skills
- Ensures that work sites are left orderly and that tools are returned to their proper area.
