About the role
- As an Animal Welfare Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to the highest standards of animal welfare and ethical practices.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in all audits and audit reports.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality about all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by FACTA and its auditing clients.
- Escalate risks and issues beyond own experience or skill set.
- Maintain professional skepticism including consideration of alternative and disconfirming evidence.
Requirements
- Animal welfare or animal husbandry exposure required.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Possess working knowledge of livestock handling tools.
- Ability to travel 60-80% to on site audits.
- To be duly considered for a vendor agreement with FACTA, PLLC, all formal requests must be exclusively submitted to hr@frostpllc.com.
- Begin to develop cross species skills and expanding knowledge of other animal welfare sectors. (multi-species auditing is REQUIRED).
- A bachelor's degree and education related to animal production and welfare is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience and/or training in Animal production or welfare (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered). Please note this does not include veterinary care for domestic animals.
- Hold active PAACO certifications (poultry or swine) or working to obtain.
