About the role
- The Depot Manager is responsible for assigning jobs to ensure efficient depot operations.
- The role ensures that company policies are being followed and that work is conducted in a safe manner.
- Additionally, the position assists in supervising depot personnel.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain customer specifications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced organization
- Ability to safely operate a loaded/empty container lift
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.
- May be required to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to perform maintenance on liquid ISO containers
Nice to have
- Prior Depot experience
- Experience using Depot Systems Software
- Container industry experience
- Prior management/supervisory experience
- Understanding equipment utilization and allocation
- Essential Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills
- Solid communication skills and attention to detail
