Responsibilities

  • The Warehouse Team Leader will supervise a variety of general warehouse activities and support staff.
  • Lead and coordinate daily tasks to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Act as the point of contact for the team, providing guidance and problem-solving support to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to implement changes that improve process efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to team members, ensuring that they are properly trained and following safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years' work experience of which two (2) years would have been in supervising personnel in warehouse in a public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement
  • Must be able to move and lift up to a 40-pound wooden skid or pallet.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred but not required
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
