About the role

  • Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is ranked in all 10 specialties by the U.S. News & World Report.
  • Assists Physicians and other staff under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse and/or Physician.
  • Substantial interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with pediatric patients, families, physicians, nursing and other allied health and medical center personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)

Skills

  • High school diploma required.
  • Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
  • Possesses 0 - 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required.
  • Some college, preferred.

Compensation

  • $19.00-$28.50 Hourly
