About the role

  • The Quality Control Technician is responsible for testing seafood products and materials used during the manufacturing process to verify the products meet predefined criteria and conform to all applicable laws and company standards.

Nice to have

  • They will test products across three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure that the final product is safe to release for sale or distribution and report findings back to management.
  • This position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor or Manager.

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds Work up to a 10-hour workday:
  • standing/walking most of the day
  • single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Work requires the following motions:
  • bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals Exposure to temperatures:
