Responsibilities
- Build, time, and execute the show rundown for 1-2 hours each day
- Monitor the aesthetics of the screen to make sure visuals support the conversation
- Effectively manage your own time and attention; prioritize and delegate tasks when necessary
- This includes building the rundown, making timing decisions, copy-editing segments, producing opens and teases, and communicating directly with anchors and executives.
Requirements
- The Line Producer for Fox & Friends must be assertive, detail-oriented, and a natural self-starter who is not afraid to take control and lead a team.
- Most of all, you must be an effective communicator who can serve as the main point of contact for producers, directors, and talent/crew in the field.
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Passion for organization; ability to simplify complicated tasks under pressure
- Solid base understanding of technical skills (specifically newsroom and video editing software)
- Strong interest/knowledge of news, current events, politics, and pop culture
- Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism
- A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
- ability to recognize stories and elements with high potential for compelling television

Compensation
- Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-110,000.00 annually.
