About the role
- Organize and facilitate Student Study Team (SST) meetings; track student progress and follow up on next steps.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with 504 Plans, including documentation, accommodations, and communication with stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and facilitation of restorative circles and conflict resolution strategies.

- The Student Support Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially.
- Provide targeted academic support in small group or one-on-one settings, focusing on core areas such as reading, writing, and math.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students needing intervention and help create support plans.
- Support students with behavioral or social-emotional challenges through positive interventions and restorative practices.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment aligned with HTH's mission and values.
- As needed, communicate regularly and effectively with families, offering guidance on home support strategies.
- Participate in professional development and stay current on best practices in intervention and student support.
Requirements
- Previous experience with SST, 504 Plans, and academic or behavioral interventions
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Required:
- Minimum of 60 college units completed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children or youth, especially in a school or educational setting
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with restorative practices and social-emotional learning strategies

- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
