About the role

We're looking for a DevEx AI Engineer who sits at the intersection of platform engineering and AI-powered developer tooling.
You will be the driving force behind integrating AI coding tools, autonomous agents, and intelligent workflows into every layer of our development lifecycle.

Design, build, and maintain the internal developer platform that enables teams to ship high-quality, secure software with speed and confidence.
Own CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and self-service infrastructure that weaves AI assistance into every stage of the SDLC.
Build intelligent automation for code review, test generation, documentation, and deployment - leveraging LLMs and agentic workflows to eliminate toil.
Establish and track DevEx metrics - DORA, cycle time, AI adoption rates - and drive continuous improvement against them.
Experience building or deploying agentic coding systems - multi-step agents that write, test, review, or deploy code autonomously.

5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in platform, DevEx, or developer tooling roles.
Deep, hands-on experience with AI coding tools - you're not just aware of them, you live in them.
You have strong opinions on what works and why.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
Strong communicator - you can write a compelling internal guide just as easily as you can give a compelling demo.

Define and evolve AI-first development standards, integrating them into our engineering culture, onboarding, and day-to-day workflows.

$180,000 - $200,000 USD
