Responsibilities

  • Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Participates in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS architecture builds, Cloud, full-stack, OpenShift, and Java.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, develop relationships, and obtain consensus among interested parties.

Requirements

  • Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2.
  • Experience working on a development team under DoD/DIA DevSecOps process.
  • Experience with multiple configuration management tools and resources.
  • Must be analytical and effectively able to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or information management, or 12 years of comparable work experience.
  • 10 years or more of program/application operations experience.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • The candidate must be analytical and effectively able to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of staff and management.
  • Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule

Compensation

  • $140,000 - $165,000 annually.
  • Actual compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, security clearance, geographic location, and other business considerations.
