Requirements

  • wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut-resistant gloves, and safety sleeves when required
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to obtain forklift operator license
  • ability to fill in for production forklift driver as needed
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read, write, and use a computer
  • complete inspections as required
  • ability to work daily and weekend overtime, including overtime on short notice, to meet operational demands.
  • The successful bidder must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge, skills and abilities in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Understand and follow all ABB safety policies, safety training, and hazard communication requirements

  • load trucks legally in compliance with Federal regulations by calculating weights accurately.
  • effectively communicate information to supervisors, managers, other plants, freight companies, tool room personnel, and coworkers

Compensation

  • Hourly pay range: $23.34- $29.59

  • While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $XX and $XX annually and is bonus eligible.
