Responsibilities
- Developing Ignition applications and solutions
- Providing Ignition expertise and design experience to the Sales Engineering and Sales Division
- Building sophisticated Ignition Exchange resources
- Developing desktop and mobile front-end applications (Perspective)
- Developing and maintaining complex database backend solutions
- Developing and testing cloud-based solutions
- Developing and maintaining Ignition demo projects and cloud infrastructure
- Working with the Sales Division to deliver moderate POCs for strategic accounts
- The Senior Application Engineer II is responsible for developing a wide range of Ignition applications and solutions.
- They will develop smaller applications and solutions independently, and contribute to larger team projects as well.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar subject
- 6-8 years as a developer or similar experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL Databases and SQL language
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Ability to understand complex systems quickly and efficiently
- Verification of US employment eligibility required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Github, kubernetes, Docker, anything DevOps related
- Experience with container management and orchestration (Argo/Kargo)
