About the role
- The OEM Field Service Technician 1 is responsible for inspecting and fixing small visual imperfections in customer equipment to guarantee a perfect product.
- Responsibilities may also include troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and consulting.
- The role requires basic electrical wiring skills and the ability to read wire schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform point-to-point checks to ensure all connections are properly established and functioning.
- Interpret and understand wiring schematics to accurately perform installations and repairs.
- Utilize Excel to manage and track progress, data, and reports related to ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Ability to work safely around electrical and mechanical hazards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a satisfactory background/MVR check.
- Technical proficiency in reading wire schematics and basic electrical wiring techniques.
- Eagerness to learn and the ability to quickly acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective communication skills with the ability to efficiently communicate with the General Forman and team members.
Nice to have
- Experience with power distribution system equipment - low and medium (480V-48kV).
