About the role

  • Job Title: Senior Associate Scientist, Mammalian Bioanalytics - Location: Framingham, MA About the job: Are you ready to shape the future of medicine?

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cell culture activities such as thawing, passaging and banking cells.
  • Cross train in separation techniques such as cIEF, CE-SDS and SEC and support GMP release and stability testing as needed
  • Perform cGMP sample testing according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compile data packets.
  • Support Analytical equipment maintenance by performing regular scheduled activities to comply with GMP standards to maintain a GMP compliant laboratory.
  • Ensure timely completion and delivery of all analytical results and documentation (technical reports, SOPs, ELN, LIMS, etc.) to support product development during clinical phases.
  • Drive progress from within by helping simplify, scale, and modernize how a global biopharma business delivers smarter, faster, and more sustainably.
  • Support teams across science, medicine, and operations by building better systems, shaping bold strategies, and enabling innovation at speed.

  • This role operates within a cGMP environment and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with at least one of these methods: ELISA, qPCR, MSD, cell-based assays techniques.
  • Must be organized, efficient, and able to work according to timelines.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry OR Master's Degree with a minimum of 6 months of experience (academic experience will be considered).

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of methodology and hands-on experience with ELISA, qPCR, MSD, cell-based assays techniques in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
  • Intern or co-op experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Working experience in a GMP environment and ability to adhere to all appropriate GMP standards (e.g. invalid result investigations, deviations, and CAPAs).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ELN.
