About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and integrate serverless components on AWS, including Lambda functions using Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Develop REST APIs and integrate applications and services across the broader enterprise ecosystem.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries and database interactions for large-scale data processing.
  • Implement asynchronous messaging and event-driven workflows.
  • Build scalable, reliable services that support high transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and architects on application design and implementation.
  • Client is seeking a hands-on Senior Full Stack Engineer to build a new application from the ground up within a fully serverless AWS architecture.

Requirements

  • 7-8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on backend expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and serverless architecture.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and working knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with messaging systems and asynchronous, event-driven communication.
  • Deep expertise in these languages is not required.
  • 7-8+ years of software development experience

Compensation

  • $50k-$55k
