About the role

  • Alliance is seeking a Senior Mental Health Direct Care Professionals (Senior Residential Services Technician) to join our Residential treatment teams.
  • This opening in with our Bridge adult residential program.
  • The Bridge is a 12-bed residential treatment program for homeless adults living with a major mental illness, many of whom also experience co-occurring conditions.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Residential Services Technicians are technical positions that provide direct services in support of the lives of people residing in the program.
  • Providing residents with general support of daily living
  • Maintain requirements for MHRT1 Certification
  • Support team of Residential Service Technicians
  • For those with varying levels of experience it provides a chance to support and be supported by a well-seasoned, well-trained caring and supportive team and environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
  • If MHRT is required for position you must pass CNA registry check
  • If residential or ECE employee must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
  • A good driving record is required
  • This means that if you have a student loan and meet certain criteria, you may be eligible for loan forgiveness while working for us.
  • Two years of experience in mental health preferred.
  • Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required
