About the role

Responsibilities
- Develops and executes procurement strategy that aligns with business strategy for assigned categories including sourcing and contingencies
- leads contractual conversations and execution liaising with cross functional teams
- Develops competitive benchmarks and financial models to analyze offers and deals to determine viability and profitability
- Drives purchase cost savings initiatives which consistently improve restaurant profitability
- Oversees and project manages a pipeline of hundreds of new SKUs being onboarded and launched at the Tim Hortons system
- Negotiates and executes business tenders; leads contractual conversations and execution liaising with cross functional teams
- Develops financial models to analyze deals and offers to determine viability and profitability
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Procurement in North American Fast Food restaurants or Food and Beverage Manufacturing
- Measures supplier performance, identifies performance improvement initiatives and supports corrective actions as required
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
- MBA with Supply Chain or Finance specialization or CPA/CFA designation preferred
- Category specific purchasing experience preferred
- QSR, food processing, retail or CPG experience preferred
