About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive long-term, user-centered design strategies embedding AI into Workspace. Inspire the team to uncover emergent needs, using data and market insights to challenge the status quo.
  • Create comprehensive design frameworks to ensure UX consistency. Partner across Workspace teams to unify design patterns for a cohesive user experience.
  • Build deep partnerships across product and engineering to align stakeholder expectations with core UX goals, OKRs, and user needs.
  • Support team members through regular career check-ins. Maintain a standard for product quality and foster a shared culture of excellence.
  • Drive long-term, user-centered design strategies embedding AI into Workspace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
  • 3 years of work experience working with executive leaders.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
  • You are a systems-level thinker and a fierce advocate for both your users and your team.
  • With a practiced eye for quality, you will transform complex workflows into elegantly simple experiences.
  • You will oversee all UX initiatives within Workspace Studio, including high-priority projects such as Agent Builder, Skills, and Flows.
  • This is a critical leadership role requiring day-to-day involvement in the execution of complex, high-velocity, and multi-team programs.
  • You will navigate multi-dimensional, ambiguous problem spaces that demand deep collaboration across Workspace teams and require upward influence with senior leadership.
  • Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity.

Compensation

  • US: $236000 - $330000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
