  • Ensure that all costs have been received, processed and included in the final billing.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project managers to support budget development exercises.
  • Implement the project financial accounting procedures and systems, financial accounting training and (kick-off) workshops for the project management team and / or contractor.
  • Establish the project control system accounting software to record and maintain all budget, contracting, and commitment and expenditure activity including comparison with original budgets.
  • Support Clients with additional outside lender or funding paperwork as needed.
  • Partner with the internal ZOR project team and providing support as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and priority changes.
  • The ideal candidate should have a high level of competency with a minimum of 5 years' of demonstrated Project Accountant/Project Controls experience (preferably in real estate, construction, or non-for-profit environments).

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.

  • The salary range for this full-time role is $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a closely related field is highly preferred.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this full-time role is $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year.
