Responsibilities

  • The Strategic Sourcing department strives to deliver value, improve financial performance and drive returns for the business in the strategic sourcing of goods and services through proactive analysis and understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), strategic engagement with our internal business partners and external suppliers and by educating the organization in Procurement and Sourcing best practices.
  • The individual will assist with the day-to-day management of various spend categories such as biology and chemistry services, preclinical sciences, biospecimens, and global regulatory affairs, which includes administrative support, process mapping, building spend reports/ dashboards, supporting or leading RFX's (Request for Information, Quotation, Proposal, etc.) and managing other projects as needed.
  • Administrative support for the strategic sourcing department including RFX (Request for Information/Proposal/ Quotation) processes, coordination and attendance of bid defense meetings

Requirements

  • You must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before June 2027
  • You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from January - June 2027
  • Students pursuing a master's degree will also be considered.
