- SUMMARY: The Field Construction Quality Manager (FCQM) will be responsible for overall quality control and have the authority to act in FCQM matters, including maintaining an effective quality management system (QMS).
Responsibilities
- Fully implementing all provisions of the BRPH C&IS Quality System and related documents on the project.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate and move around the construction site, including walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and standing for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
- The Field Construction Quality Manager shall have experience with the processes and procedures associated with three phases of Construction Quality Control ranging in size of $5M to $50M or more.
- Planning project quality controls required by the BRPH construction & integrated services (C&IS) quality systems and contract requirements.
Nice to have
- 5-7 years of experience as a construction project engineer, general construction superintendent on similar type projects or a licensed professional engineer or registered architect.
- USACE/NAVFAC Certified Construction Quality Control Manager is required or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Vertical Experience is preferred.
- The American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Procore is required.
- Open to adapting to new technologies, i.e. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Basic working understanding/knowledge using AI.
- Possess a current and valid US Passport without restrictions.
Compensation
- $100,000 - $130,000 DOE
