About the role
- We're looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to help build the Sesame app that powers our next-generation wearable devices.
Responsibilities
- Build Sesame's standalone companion app - the foundation for a new consumer product category - on a team that highly values craft and quality.
- Work with multiple teams across engineering, design, and product to ship complex projects that delight users.
- From initial setup to account management, personalized experiences, FW OTA, and beyond, you will be instrumental to the architecture, design, and implementation of our iOS app that works best with Sesame's wearable devices.
- You'll work closely with design, firmware, and backend teams to create a seamless, delightful user experience that connects our hardware to the digital world.

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Experience working with BT/BLE-enabled devices, and/or doing OTA firmware updates.
- Work with hardware/firmware teams to design and implement a seamless iOS user experience with Sesame's wearable devices.
Nice to have
- tuned into the Apple release cycle and always thinking about how the latest features can help the team produce an even more incredible experience.
- Lots of hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle of iOS apps: build trains, test strategy, and the latest UI architecture patterns.
- Experience working with iOS AccessorySetupKit.
- Experience in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
