About the role

  • The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach Scrum teams, remove impediments, and ensure successful execution of projects throughout the full system development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Support system implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance activities as required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 11 years of professional experience, including significant experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and leading Agile development teams.
  • Experience working closely with Product Owners, Technical Project Managers, Release Managers, developers, and customer stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience managing project schedules, backlogs, roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and sprint deliverables.
  • Ability to identify and remove impediments while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, software development processes, and integration across hardware and software components.

Compensation

  • USD $150,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
