About the role

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Global Operations: Own and continuously improve the full employee lifecycle-from onboarding and offboarding to employment changes, leaves, and compliance. Find the smartest, most efficient ways to manage recordkeeping.
  • Act as a Trusted Partner: Be the highly visible, go-to resource for managers and employees on policies, processes, and general people questions.
  • Scale Our Systems: Partner with our HRIS Manager to ensure our tech stack isn't just working, but is built for scale and maximum efficiency.
  • Readiness to build and lead: While you will start as a high-impact individual contributor, you have the capability-and perhaps prior experience mentoring or guiding others-to eventually build and manage a small, high-output People Ops team as we scale.
  • You know how to set clear expectations and build a culture of ownership.
  • Strong analytical chops: You are highly comfortable analyzing data, building frameworks, and presenting clear, data-backed recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • This role is required to report to our Cambridge office 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • You have broad HR generalist experience and know how to run people programs with care and consistency, but you also have a track record of challenging how things are done.
  • 7+ years of progressive
