About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Generator Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of portable generators and related equipment.

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of portable generators, including engines, electrical, and mechanical components.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with industry safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and customer service staff, to provide high-quality service and resolve any technical issues.

Proven experience as a Generator Technician or in a similar technical role, with a solid understanding of generator systems and troubleshooting methods.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills with the ability to work on various types of generator models and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to generator operations and maintenance.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to interact with clients professionally.
Maintain and organize an inventory of parts, tools, and equipment required for repairs and installations to ensure minimal downtime.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on expertise, and a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

Certification in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g., Electrical License, Mechanical Certification).
Experience with portable air conditioning systems and related equipment.
Prior experience in the rental or portable equipment industry, with a strong understanding of rental operations.
