About the role

  • The Installation Technician is a hands on, customer facing role responsible for the installation, configuration, and verification of Raptor Technologies' Bluetooth beacon and gateway solutions at customer sites across the country.
  • This is a temporary, full-time assignment anticipated to last from mid-August through mid-December, supporting a high volume of customer installations during the peak implementation season.
  • The Installation Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and validating hardware and software solutions while ensuring each deployment is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Test, validate, and verify installed hardware, software, and system functionality to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with installation standards before project completion.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including climbing ladders, lifting and carrying installation equipment, standing and walking for extended periods (up to 9 hours per day), traversing large school campuses, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including warm weather conditions.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of software,
  • Ability and willingness to travel 100%, including occasional short-notice trips.
  • Comfortable using technology such as iPads, mobile apps, and digital documentation tools.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including climbing ladders, lifting and carrying installation equipment, standing and walking for extended periods (up to 9 hours per day), traversing large school campuses, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including warm weather conditions. Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication and customer service abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with hardware installation, field service work, low-voltage wiring, or similar hands-on technical roles (preferred but not required).
