About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the recruiting database (LawCruit), including candidate records, interview schedules, evaluations, and reporting for lateral associate hiring.
  • Support conflicts, background check and onboarding processes.
  • Partner with HR and other departments to facilitate smooth onboarding of new attorneys.
  • Manage recruiting materials, departmental supplies, and assist with additional projects as needed.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.

  • The Legal Recruiting (LR) Assistant provides key administrative and logistical support to the Legal Recruiting team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a law firm or law school career services setting.
  • Willingness to work occasional extended hours as required.
  • Occasional travel as required.

Nice to have

  • experience with LawCruit preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with databases
