About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships to support consistent performance and on-time delivery to Polaris distribution facilities.
  • Review system-recommended purchase quantities and collaborate with demand planning analysts to improve purchasing accuracy.
  • Approve purchase orders, monitor delivery status, and expedite orders as needed to support fill rate goals.
  • Resolve backorder issues in alignment with service level and customer support objectives.
  • Negotiate cost, lead time, minimum order quantities, and economic order quantities to support business objectives.
  • Planning & Organization: You manage time, resources, and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and deliver consistent results.

  • As a Purchasing Analyst, you will manage supplier activity for the Parts, Garments & Accessories business to support on-time product delivery to Polaris distribution facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience managing the purchase order lifecycle.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
  • Strong aptitude for solving problems and improving processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

  • The starting pay range for Minnesota is $64,550 to $84,750 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

Compensation

  • The starting pay range for Minnesota is $64,550 to $84,750 per year.
