About the role

Consultants at this level work independently while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Configures and customizes SAP TM capabilities including transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, tendering, and optimization.

The SAP TM Consultant provides expertise in the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions.
Provides timely support for TM issues related to configuration, data, and system behavior.
Travels up to 50% to support workshops, testing, implementation, and go-live activities.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field
SAP TM certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Level I: 2+ years of SAP TM experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
Experience supporting data migration, interface development, or system integration activities.

Hands-on experience configuring SAP TM functionalities such as planning, freight execution, carrier selection, and optimization.
Experience conducting functional testing and supporting QA activities.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Experience working with the Department of Defense or other federal agencies.
Familiarity with ServiceNow.

In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
