About the role
- What makes this role unique is the interaction with important decision makers across the entire organization.
- You will report to the Director, Finance - GA&I and IT located at Rockwell Automation's world headquarters in Milwaukee, WI, USA.
- Ensure that the highest return on investment programs are funded by managing the > $50M project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial support to CIO, 5 Vice Presidents and global IT staff of over 700 people
- Manage a budget of approx. $400M including large capital projects
- Create business cases for large digital investments and complex multi-year technology contracts
- Lead productivity programs that lower the IT organization's cost to serve
- Partner with Global Analytics and Insights organization that provides FP&A support
- Provide financial support for long-term strategy including ERP roadmaps
- Focus on main causes which include large and variable type expenses to ensure that finance support is providing the highest value, based on capacity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with large technology solutions and providers
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
