About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Node.js and AWS environments to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex issues and implement resolutions.
  • Implement new requirements following Agile and architectural principles.
  • Manage application requirements and collaborate with teams to ensure quality.
  • Support planning and design for solution architectures in a multi-system environment.
  • Collaborate on product architecture and design problem-solving.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and extracting data from legacy systems, developing robust and scalable code, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • The employee is regularly required to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone/headset, and/or other office equipment as essential functions of this position.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with Node.js in AWS.
  • Experience in continuous integration and delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres) and cloud development using AWS Lambda.
  • Ability to analyze and extract data from legacy systems independently.
  • Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., git, docker).
  • Agile team experience with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently as needed.
  • Expertise in developing REST APIs and tooling for documentation.
  • Motivated to learn and tackle challenging projects positively.
  • The base salary for this position is $ $92,250 - $131,964 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
