About the role
- Under direction of the Director of Food & Beverage and/or Food and Beverage Managers, the Part Time Bartender's primary responsibilities include the following functions in accordance with Legends policies.
- MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards and liquor laws.
Responsibilities
- Develops relationships with guests.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times
- Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers, clients and guests.
- Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
- Maintains full knowledge of menus and other pertinent information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-2 years serving experience a must
- Ability to handle high stress situations
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Clear Credit Screen required
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.
- All persons handling alcohol must be at least 21 years of age.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience bartending preferred.
- In accordance with Virginia law, the anticipated compensation for this position is $12.41 per hour, plus tips
