About the role

Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to staff members.
Coordinate and oversee the preparation of plans for grading, paving, drainage, and utilities with engineering and production staff.

Manage all aspects of design for land development and municipal projects.
Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives.
Work with governing agencies to gain approval of plans and development documents.
This individual will assist with the design of various projects that may include residential and commercial developments, schools, churches, hospitals, living centers, parks, athletic facilities, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and more.
From mentoring students at a local elementary school, to hosting food drives, and sponsoring events, we're committed to helping the communities we work and live in.

5-10 years of experience in land development and/or municipal engineering.
Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required.
Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
Prepare required calculations and reports for drainage, grading, paving, water, and wastewater-related projects.

PE license in Kansas and Missouri is preferred (or the ability to obtain said license in a timely manner).
Knowledge of local standards and requirements preferred.
